MEDFORD, MA (May 5, 2024) — The Tufts University men’s lacrosse team found out its fate for the 2024 NCAA Division III Men’s Lacrosse Tournament on Sunday evening, as the No. 6 Jumbos earned an at-large Pool C bid into the field and will travel to Schenectady, NY to battle the winner of Illinois Wesleyan University (13-3) and Aurora University (14-5) on Saturday at Union College.

The Jumbos (13-3) will make the trip to just outside of Albany to take on either the Titans or Spartans, who will play at Illinois Wesleyan on Wednesday in Bloomington, Illinois. On the other side of the bracket, host Union College (12-5) will take on Stevenson University (13-6). Game times this weekend are yet to be announced at Frank Bailey Field.

Tufts has never played either Aurora or Illinois Wesleyan in program history, though the Jumbos have battled both Stevenson and Union extensively. Tufts is 6-3 all-time against the Mustangs of Stevenson University, while the Jumbos are 3-2 against Union College including a 24-5 win earlier this season on Bello Field in Medford.
