Reed & Mackay Hires Operations Leader for North America

Reed & Mackay has hired Isabel Torres as its operations managing director of North America, a new position that will support the travel management company’s North America expansion plans, the TMC announced on Tuesday.

Torres joins Reed & Mackay after more than 30 years with Ovation Travel Group, most recent as SVP of operations at Ovation and its Lawyers Travel brand. She will oversee Reed & Mackay’s U.S. operations from its New York and Philadelphia offices, reporting to John Keichline, the TMC’s North America CEO.

The U.K.-based Reed & Mackay, now part of the Navan Group, has been increasing its footprint in the U.S. and Canada, and last year it increased U.S.-based hires by 30 percent from January to December, according to the TMC.

Torres “will play a pivotal role in driving our strategic priorities and delivering value to our clients,” Keichline said in a statement. “Isabel is uniquely placed to understand the nuanced needs of our discerning clients, given her longstanding experience working with financial services and law firms for three decades.”

Torres began the new role on April 2.
