New York Giants’ 2024 schedule: Game-by-game record prediction | Sporting News

The New York Giants
announced their schedule for the 2024 season, which means it’s time some way-too-early record predictions.

Despite coming off a 6-11 season, the Giants have three traditional games in prime-time in addition to a pair of standalone games—an overseas matchup
against the Carolina Panthers and a Thanksgiving game
against the Dallas Cowboys.

A lot is going to change over the course of the summer leading into training camp and the regular season so all these predictions should be taken with a grain of salt.

Still, this is a good exercise to see what the path looks like for the Giants in 2024.

Record prediction: 7-10

What this would mean for the current regime is unclear. Another poor season in terms of record seems to be on the way. Maybe if they are more competitive, Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen would remain in place, but it’s difficult to tell right now.

It’s not going to be an easy slate for the Giants, who continue to get prime-time coverage despite just one winning season in their last seven. There are a handful of games that could go either way, but the Giants haven’t been a team that has earned the benefit of the doubt in recent seasons.

We’ll see what the season has in store for the Giants, but it seems they are en route to another losing campaign simply given the state of the roster.
