Mikal Bridges Tries to Recruit Knicks’ Josh Hart to Nets in Response to IG Photo

There are plenty of Villanova players on the New York Knicks with Jalen Brunson, Donte DiVincenzo and Josh Hart, but it appears Mikal Bridges would like one of his former college teammates to join him on the Brooklyn Nets.

Bridges responded to a post from Hart on Instagram with the message “Come to the Nets?”, and the Knicks guard had quite the response:

Hart’s post was an image of him working with ESPN as part of the network’s coverage of the 2024 NBA Finals between the Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavericks. His caption of “might quit my day job” is surely a reference to Brunson’s joke about his media work:

Unfortunately for Bridges, Hart likely isn’t leaving the Knicks anytime soon.

New York surely isn’t looking to move him after he impressed in the playoffs while averaging a double-double of 14.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.0 steals per game.

That means it might take the Nets trading Bridges to the Knicks to make any type of Villanova reunion involving the Brooklyn guard a reality.
