Maharaj fights nerves to deliver Proteas knockout punch: ‘I trusted my execution’ | Sport

Proteas spinner Keshav Maharaj said he was calmer when he delivered the last over of his team’s tense four-run win over Bangladesh as compared to the penultimate over bowled by Ottniel Baartman.

Maharaj was entrusted with the defence of 11 runs in the final over, from where he conceded just five and took the wickets of Jaker Ali and Mahmudullah in what was their third successful outing at the Nassau County International Cricket Ground.
